About Mayura Arts

The school

Mayura Arts is an art school in Almere. We teach acrylic painting, drawing and sketching, and watercolour to students, most of them between 4 and 16.

Meet Priyanka

Originally from India, Priyanka has taught arts and crafts in Almere since 2024. She specialises in acrylic painting, mural painting and Lippan art, a traditional Indian wall art of mud relief and mirror inlay. Her murals and Lippan pieces are handmade, and she sells them.

She is known for her patience with young learners. And the painting doesn't stop when the class ends: guardians often share photos of work made at home afterwards, without being asked.
